[Denmark] [VIDEO] Birth and Christening of Prince Frederik (1968)
I really admire and am thankful to people who upload these videos on youtube. Nothing like pictures and footage to see history in the making. He christened his baby twins last week, but we get to see Crown Prince Frederik at birth. Absolutely lovely. He was born on May 26th, 1968 and christened Frederik André Henrik Christian.

Crown Princess Mary is holding baby Josephine and Crown Prince Frederik is with little Vincent. They were born on January 8th, 2011.
Note: these photos were taken in February 2011, when the twins were only a few weeks old but still unnamed. Nice to put a name in their pretty little faces now!

[Christening] Danish royals twins christened in Copenhagen VIDEO
The royal parents were just drooling over their babies. Their two older children were extremely cute, focusing on being steady and sitting on their own little royal thrones. Princess Isabella being affectionate with her little sister. Proud grandparents. Queen Margrethe could not showcase a wider smile. Baby Vincent crying while entering the Kingdom of God - cutest moment ever - and baby Josephine just being a quiet lovely doll. BTW, I think it's the first time Crown Prince Frederik is holding his baby during a christening as it's usually CP Mary's task. Correct me if I am wrong. Prince Christian being adorable, playing with the program with his parents insignia. And at last but not least, princess Isabella waved her grandparents. There was just too much sweetness during this ceremony!
[Christening] Crown Princess Mary is a very stylish mom!
And she looked stunning in a blue dress during her children's christening. But she seemed to have to pay extra attention on the steps with those heels, didn't she?

[Christening] Discover the Danish baby twins names! How do you like them?
The intimate ceremony took place at Holmen church in Copenhagen, which holds a special place in the heart of the twins' grandmother, Queen Margrethe, who was married there in 1967.
The little princess wore a christening robe of white cotton batiste and a bonnet which belonged to her great-grandmother Queen Ingrid.
And the little prince wore a gown fashioned from Brussels lace, which was originally made for the christening of future King Christian X in 1870.
Meanwhile, mum Mary looked stunning in a structured blue shift dress and white feathered headpiece, whilst Frederik complemented her look in a navy suit.
The select gathering who were present to witness the happy moment consisted of close friends and family, including Frederik's parents Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik, and his brother, Joachim.
The royal guest list was smaller than usual for this type of event as none of the major members from the royal houses of Sweden, Norway or the Netherlands were able to attend due to official engagements.

I don't dislike the name Vincent but absolutely love Joséphine. It makes them go back to their French roots (from CP Frederik's paternal side).
