[United Kingdom] Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie at the Investec Derby at Epsom yesterday

Also in the Royal Box at Epsom was the Duke of York and his daughters. The Queen did not appear on the balcony during the race, preferring to watch it on television inside. One race official said she was "just too tense".

[The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Wedding] Meet the Royal Anastasia and Drizella (Cinderella's stepsisters)

Anastasia and Drizella

I am sure someone has made the joke before but am sure it never suited them this well. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie went all the way in the "Look if we care" and made two bold fashion statements at their cousin William's wedding. In general, I admire people who go for their guts and follow their instincts but there is a difference in trying to be bold - and just being bold naturally - and just wanting to stand out, almost out shining who has really to shine on a wedding day. And let's say that in this latter category, the sisters did not disappoint. It's a pity because they looked stunning on the Pre-Wedding dinner, specially Eugenie on that marvellous black Vivienne Westwood gown who did wonders on her body. This blue Vivienne Westwood does her absolutely NO favour. Attire-wise, Beatrice looked good. But oh my God, that "The Lion King Musical" wide piece in her head just killed me (and that will be it for the Disney references).

First, we just got scared.

Then we got petrified.

A penny for the Duke of York's thoughts, PLEASE!

According to HelloMagazine, Award-winning milliner Philip Treacy – who created a staggering 35 hats for the royal nuptials - has spoken again of Princess Beatrice's headgear.
"My inspiration was beauty and elegance; it's a 21st century royal wedding," he told a US website.
Referring also to Beatrice's younger sister, Princess Eugenie, he said: "They didn't tell me what they wanted because I've known them for a long time and I wanted them to look gorgeous and beautiful. They trusted me to make them. Gorgeous and beautiful can be open to interpretation. I thought they looked gorgeous and beautiful, but no one is crying if anyone didn't."
The designer – who also made headpieces for Victoria Beckham and Tara Palmer Tomkinson at the wedding – explained that his creations were designed to make the wearer "feel a million dollars. How a hat makes you feel is what a hat is all about."

[Pre-wedding Dinner] The Men of the Hour #royalwedding

Prince Albert II of Monaco. He is getting thinner, isn't he? Pre-Wedding fever for him!

I wish I knew how to make a joke about the Prince of Asturias, but I can't. Felipe is just THE handsome of the bunch.

Crown Prince Pavlos - wearing a power balance wristband! - in a hurry

The Duke of York catching an imaginary ball.

The Grand Duke felt a little something something in his belly. But recomposed.

Crown Prince Alexander II of Yugoslavia left the building singing.

Prince of Wales. No joke.

Duke of Västergötland has a pocket full of sunshine.

[Pre-wedding Dinner] The Yorks: Andrew, Eugenie and Beatrice

I love Eugenie's dress - a Vivienne Westwood black gown - it flatters her figure tremendously. This was a terrific choice!

I also liked Beatrice's dress. It was a breath of fresh (and young) air given to the party.
