[United Kingdom] The Duke of Edinburgh, the Earl of Wessex & the stunning Countess of Wessex at Derby

The DoE, almost 90, always smiling (sarcastically) - love the guy!

We saw him previously in the stands with his mother, wish we had a photo with his wife!

I think Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, looked absolutely stunning!

[United Kingdom] The Queen in dashing pink at the Investec Derby at Epsom yesterday

The Queen's horse, Carlton House, may have failed to win the Investec Derby but nothing could dampen the mood at Epsom racecourse, where the Royal family enjoyed its first get-together since the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. On the background, we can see Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh - who turns 90 next week - attended.

[The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Wedding] The Wessexes

Saturday, April 30, 2011

Now, onto the family of the groom: Prince Edward and Countess Sophie, the super trooper!

The Countess of Wessex was a real trooper: she broke her rib on Monday, while horseback riding. I do not know how many painkillers she had to take, but she still attended the Pre-Wedding Dinner with her husband, Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex. Sophie had a bit of a hard time while walking but she had her Edward's arm to hold on to. And she sure did not forget to smile!
