It's Christmas time! We do not see her that often (on this website, because she is an active royal and true asset to her sister, Queen Margrethe of Denmark), but Princess Benedikte of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg was seen doing her Christmas rounds and tasting ham in local market in Copenhagen.

Princess Nathalie Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg to marry Alexander Johannsmann religiously on June 18th, 2011
Yes, 2011 is definitely the Royal Wedding Year. The second one, a tiny bit more low profile than the previous one in London is to occur on June 18th, 2011 and to unite Princess Nathalie Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Alexander Johannsmann religiously. And I say religiously because they got a civilly married exactly one year ago already, on May 27th, 2010.
Princess Nathalie is the daughter of Princess Benedikte of Denmark - Queen Margrethe's sister - and her husband, Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg.

According to Billet-Bladet (also the source of the photos of this post), the chapel in the Castle of Berleburg in Germany is "not large enough to be expected over 100 guests from Denmark, Germany and England". Nathalie and Alexander already have a son, Konstantin, born on July 24th, 2010. "It was not quite according to the original plan for the now 35-year-old princess to have a child before she was married, and therefore it was urgent to have a civil marriage".

South Korean leader made official visit to Denmark this week

This wednesday, Queen Margrethe, accompanied by her sons Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim, her daughter in law, Princess Marie and sister Princess Benedikte welcomed South Korean President Lee Myung Bak to Denmark, the second stop on a week-long European visit.
Lee arrived from Germany where he has met with, among others, Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Christian Wulff.
The two-day visit in Denmark includes talks on trade, research and cooperation, including on green growth.
On Thursday, the president's final day in Denmark, he is set to meet with Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen.
Denmark is a member of the European Union, and on July 1st a free trade treaty between South Korea and the bloc was due to come into force. The Confederation of Danish Industry said it hoped to the free trade agreement would help triple Danish exports to South Korea, last year estimated to be worth almost 700 million dollars. France was the president's next and last stop.
